Peyawa is a traditional drink used in Srilanka and some regions of India as a remedy for enhancing the immune power to repel and destroy the effects of externally generated microbiological threats mainly colds, flu, cough, indigestion ,catarrh and body aches.This generic formulation has many combinations of herbs starting from just one to many. The final therapeutic effect of the preparation depends upon the number of ingredients present in the formulation.

The formula of Deegayu Nidosha Easy Boiling Peyawa consists of 18 botanical ingredients which have been identified as highly efficacious botanical species in Ayurveda and traditional indigenous medicinal system of Sri lanka for preventing and curing above mentioned cold related diseases. The plant materials in the formula have been prepared by thoroughly cleaning to remove all the extraneous matter through a washing process followed by drying and com minuting to obtain the most suitable particle size which can release the medicinal components to water during the boiling process with water.

Processed and prepared particles of the 18 ingredients as per the formula have been contained in a filter pouch which can be boiled as it is in water. Each pouch contains 20 grams and sufficient for making 5 drinks of 200 ml.capacity. All the water soluble medicinal compounds in 18 ingredients will be released to water during the boiling process giving a highly efficacious medicinal drink.

තැම්බූ විගස ඖෂධ 18 හිම සාරය ජලයට නිදහස් වන පරිදි විද්‍යාත්මක ලෙස පිළියෙළ කල ඖෂධ 18 ම වට්ටෝරුවට අනුව මිශ්‍රකර ග්රෑම් 20 ක ප්‍රමාණයක් අඩංගු වනසේ ආහාර ප්‍රමිතියේ සවිවර කවර වල අසුරා ඇත. මෙම සවිවර අසුරණය එලෙසම ජලය කෝප්ප 10 ක් ( ලීටර 2) සමග නටවා ජලය කෝප්ප 5 ක ප්‍රමාණයකට සිඳවීමෙන් පසු සවිවර අසුරනය මිරිකා එහි අඩංගු සාරයද එක්කර එය ඉවත් කිරීමෙන් අතිශය ගුණාත්මක මෙන්ම ප්‍රනීත පේයාව පානයක් පිළියෙළ කර ගත හැක.

The advantage is that the filter pouch containing the spent material can be disposed after squeezing to obtain the retained decoction in the pouch to make the boiled decoction more concentrated and highly pungent.
