Introduction:

Belimal in Sinhala, Flowers of Bael (Aegle marmalos) fruit has been used by the people of Sri Lanka before the traditional tea was introduced as a commercial plantation to Sri Lanka by British in 1868. Bael tree is considered a sacred tree in India since each and every part of the tree is used in many home remedies.

Deegayu Bael flower tea has been manufactured through a proprietary process designed and developed by the research and development department of Deegayu where the inherited flavor, aroma and health benefits of the carefully selected fresh flowers of Bael is preserved until released to boiled water at the time of the preparation of the drink for consumption.

This processed has been designed by Deegayu team based on the scientific facts of traditional black tea manufacturing technology where the processes of withering, fermentation and drying is controlled to obtain the flavor and the aroma of the final hot beverage.The particles of the final product has been completed in such a way by rupturing the cells of the material that it releases the ingredients containing the flavor and aroma to the boiled hot water within 3 - 5 minutes.

හැඳින්වීම:

බෙලිමල් යනු බෙලි ගසෙහි හටගන්නා මල් ලෙස සරලව හැඳින්විය හැක. බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය ජාතිකයින් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට තේ වගාව හඳුන්වාදීමෙන් පසු ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයින්ගේ පානය තේ බවට පත් වුවද, ඊට පෙර ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයින්ගේ ප්‍රධානතම පානයක් ලෙස බෙලි මල් ප්‍රචලිතව පැවතින. බෙලි මල් පිපෙන්නේ වසරකට වරක් වුවද එම කාලය තුල නෙලා ගන්නා බෙලිමල් වියලා තබා ගනිමින් පානය සඳහා යොදා ගැනින.

වියලි බෙලිමල් පානයක් ලෙස පිළියෙළ කර ගන්නා ලද්දේ ජලය සමග තැම්බීමෙනි. ජලය සමග තම්බා පිළියෙළ කරගන්නා පානයෙහි බෙලිමල් සතු ආකර්ශනීය සුවඳ ගෙනෙදෙන වාෂ්පශීලී තෛලයන් ජල වාෂ්ප සමග ඉවත්ව යන හෙයින් බෙලිමල් සතු රසය , ගුණය හා සුගන්ධය යන කොටස් තුනම එම පානයෙහි අඩංගුව නොතිබීම හේතුවෙන් එම බෙලිමල් පානය අසම්පුර්ණ පානයක් බවට පත්වේ.
